Get a grip Harv..................players come and go, just like people leave their own workplace when they think it is right. To call someone Judas for this is a disgrace, especially someone who has been so committed in the past.

Personally I am dissapointed in Peter Band, but like you I do not know the reasons why he has chosen to leave. Good luck to him and if he joins the Vics, so what

He'd be second choice for me behind Rose and Munroe anyway. It's totally his choice and I have no doubt he'll always have Alty close to his heart.

Judas in my eyes too. I remember some of the sh1t that Stu Terry got when he went to vics, now that was harsh!

This is our opinion and we're welcome to it, not disgracing ourselves at all. In all honesty I dont think we should have welcomed him back the first time, and i dont mind getting slated for it.

Its no major loss, keeping Munroe is more important so he can forge a partnership with Rose!

In fairness I don't think you'll see him back at Vics.

I think he'll go to Hyde where he started off, have to take a pay cut to play for Hyde mind

Maybe he'll retire? Possibly looking at a coaching role or eventual management at hyde, who knows. Vics wouldnt take him now, cant see him being a good addition for them.

Im not saying Band was a bad player for the club or that he never did us proud in alty shirt. But if you sum up the facts he is still a bit of a judas character to Alty and Vics. Him leaving this time has nothing to do with this, i've made no attempt to hide why i thought this in the past.

I'd like to disassocaite myself from the calling of Peter Band Judas....disgraceful!

Unless it relates to the last time he left us of course ..for which he as repented of his sins and begged forgiveness and for which I and most Alty duelly forgave after a penance of giving 120% for Alty for 2 seasons, 4 hail Marys and a chorus of we all pi$$ in a green and white pot..

I also said at the time we shouldn't have welcomed Bandy back and Bandy proved me wrong.
