Or from my point of view:

Barrow - 315.15 miles
Workington - 352.26 miles

So, a nice 704 mile round trip to Workington is really one to look forward to!

Can we play in Blue Square South please?   ;)

With a fair number of teams less than 2 hours away, we should take healthy numbers on the road!!

Gainsborough Trinity thou, argh I hate that place!!

What's the betting we get an early season away trip to either Burscough or Telford?

Watch this space....

So, I guess that it's Leigh RMI for the big Boxing Day derby match?

Oh joy.

If Alty get a good start and get early points on the board, then bring on Leigh RMI on Boxing Day!

Ah...but what if (God forbid) we don't?

Can I just point out that I do not want to play any of those teams.

May I state right here, right now, that I will never go to Tamworth again.

Thank you.

Having applied some logic i think boxing day will look like this

AFC Telford United - 76.9 miles v Worcester City - 100.2 miles

Alfreton Town - 58.1 miles v Hucknall Town -  85.9 miles

Barrow - 102.8 miles v Workington - 141.1 miles

Blyth Spartans - 172 miles v Harrogate Town - 67.5 miles

Burscough - 34.9 miles v Southport - 41.2 miles

Gainsborough Trinity - 80.6 miles v Leigh RMI - 15.8 miles

Hinckley United - 90.3 miles v  Tamworth - 76 miles

Hyde United - 17.4 v Stalybridge Celtic - 20 miles

Kettering Town - 126.8 miles v Nuneaton Borough - 95.4 miles

Redditch United - 90.1 miles v Solihull Moors - 89.6 miles

Which leaves the much more exciting prospect and a much better crowd of.......................................

Vauxhall Motors - 28.9 miles  v  Altrincham

one more bloody goal that's all we needed one more bloody goal and it would have been the geen sh!te and another easy 3 points

What if it was a promotion decider?

No, I still wouldn't go back there.
The scars of that abysmal afternoon there on 21st April 2007 run too deep.

Sadly, I also think their style of play will be well suited to the pitches/teams in this league and I suspect they will be harder to beat than ever on their own patch.
