Very good meeting. The most positive I've felt since we got promoted.

Neil Young won't be shirking any responsibility this season.

We will be running with a squad of 18/19. Few of which will be household names. Many from the league below.

Players won't be signing on big money meanings that if they don't reach the standards they expect, players can be loaned out (he expects managers to play these players and report back to him and will have them watched) and when they come back they'll be ready for first team football. So we therefore get the benefit of them being on loan not just from a wage bill perspective

Andrew dawber will be our number 1 however a 2nd gk (potentially callum williams) to ensure he's pushed. He's a keeper he wanted to sign at Stockport before Fulham poached him. Tim was a very difficult choice. Dawber has spent the last 12 months with Tim Flowers and a lot of time with Eric Steel before that.

As mentioned earlier reeves and Lawrie took pay cuts to remain. Scott was offered more than his conference national alty wage to join chorley.

As for his Stockport days, he believed a lack of goal scorer was the reason his team didn't succeed. They "bossed games" but couldn't score enough. He also had 9 players on contract when he joined them including KRISTIN Dennis. He had to get them out before he could make signings so signings were rushed. Kristin Dennis had only played 4 games so therefore wasn't a viable player for the wages he was on.

We will be using loan wingers from the u21 set up. Good quality wingers are on a silly wage at this level and he won't be in a bidding war. Speaking to 2 atm.

Loans will come from a variety of places - such as Everton Stoke Man Utd who he believe trust him with their players.

Graham answered my question that we'd be making money available should Neil spot a player he can buy for cash that will make his squad better or could be sold on to the FL.

All players must come into the bar after the game for 1 drink.
Players and fans must be one unit to create momentum in order to progress up the football ladder. He said chester were an unstoppable train due to this.

Or squad will be younger than we've had with the majority between 18-25. He wants to create a club that can attract the best rising talent because a club like Altrincham shouldn't be dragged into a bidding wars.

Gary Jones said playing football is like war and he expects the squad to be in it together and that had they experienced the devestating defeat at Colchester that he and the group would have just had to get their heads down and work through it.

Halifax are young title favourites. But believes we can let the others fight it out.

His style of play will be quick and determined. Maybe not always pretty but wants fast fit determined. Players should not be scared to try things

Charlie Joyce has been described as the fittest player in the conference

He's warned players will make the odd mistake along the way. But he'd rather players come out and express themselves and give their all than shirk it off and sulk.

Nick was not a cost effective option to keep.

I asked about their cup record. They said whilst they're looking to improve it they believe the league should and always will be no.1 priority.

He acknowledged that he had a big job to get fans back on side and the won't happen overnight.

He believes his scouting team and network will help identify the gems we need. Be it at lower levels, u21, reserve etc

Finally, we won't see as many summer trialists got 6 to look at during friendlies if his targets don't come off. However many targets won't be spoken till after May 31st
