I notice Deasey was injured yet carried on. Was that due the fact that we had no keeper on the bench? If so this is a disgrace.
We lost Clee for the season due to playing him whilst injured.

No mate, Calum Williams was on he bench. We just don't trust he kids enough to play them. No point in putting them on the bench at all if they're not going to get a gig.

Absolutely ridiculous that we allowed Tim Deasy to limp around while a keeper sat on the bench.

Seriously that is a joke, how tinpot are we this season?

So using the Tolson/Sinnot Magical Management Strategy system,  that equates to having Vardy, Kane, and Rashford on the bench but due to there ages they wouldn't get a kick.

No fkn wonder were where we are.
My nominations for the players of the season are to the Three lads who have trapsed all over the country for the last 8 months and the only time they have got on the pitch is for the pre match warm up and at half time.

Some people are quick to call some of our rivals "Tinpot". Unfortunately we are fast becoming one of the same ourselves and that is a crying shame.

Roll on next season and lets start over.

You can understand how it might come to pass that a club our size, with 6 first teamers out, may be reduced to fielding kids on the bench. But playing with an injured keeper for the vast majority of a game is just indefensible I'm afraid. It is very, very amateur. I hope that Tim (my player of the year) is okay.

The way we have made injured players take to the pitch this season and expected them to make a meaningful contribution is nothing short of disgraceful

Next season I propose the club gets shut of the team bus and takes the team to games in a fkn ambulance.

The reserves aren't kept off the pitch because they are young, the hey are kept off because they're well below par. Has anyone watched them at all over the last few seasons? They aren't even North West Counties standard

I believe this is partially our fault. The reserves play in the Cheshire League which as I understand it means none of our contracted players can turn out for them. Not only does this mean that we can't give first teamers match fitness, it also deprives younger players of the benefit of playing alongside say Mike Williams etc over the last couple of seasons.

As for the coaching, I've not been in on amy of the training sessions but I do know for a fact that a current Conference North team's assistant manager was rejected for the job, and the chairman's son is manager...

The reserves as they are are a joke. It should be a great way to bring through players like Sam Heathcote, sadly that will be rare due to it's poor general quality

Then Nicky. the question has to be, Why are they on the bench then. I expect the answer is something like ... Because we have to name a certain number of subs for each game..

All too predictable really. Biggest cheer of the day was in the pub beforehand when Duncan scored.

Do we get a wedge because he scored?

I know Callum Williams has played for at least one season at Marine in the EvoStik Prem, while of course it is 2 leagues below the National, should be enough experience to come on as sub in the National League??

Having just watched the footage of Eastleigh's opening goal yesterday, I can now clearly understand why the match reporter in the Non League Paper referred to "the vulnerable left side of Altrincham's defence".

Embarrassing.
