it seems the experiment is lasting until the hypothesis "appointing the coach of 3 years to manager will not change things a jot and will result in relegation" is absolutly proven beyond reasonable doubt..

The next experiment will be "can a coach we appointed as manager under whom we still got relegated do any better in the league below?"

I've just remembered the similarity to when GH left and Kenny Mc was made manager to the end of the season and we got relegated by the skin of our teeth.

Ken McKenna had three quarters of a season to keep us up.............I believe that money was made available to him as well

And had players with the fight.

Lawton or O Keefe.

He also started with 1 point from 33 at the beginning of the season. I'd have had him back in a shot.

He benched Reeves for a long run of games. Wouldn't have him anywhere near

And we did better that season than we are doing this.

No chance..........jumped ship once the chips were down

Thought Twiss was better than Reeves

Once Lee Sinnott chucked the towel in, we needed somebody new to the club who could somehow lift the players, someone with a knack of picking the right team and right formation and making the right substitutions at the right time, someone to instill belief and get them creating chances and actually putting them away.........whether or not that person exists or not I don't know....but it aint Ken
