Tuesday matches thread

Braintree v Gateshead
Dover v Lincoln
Eastleigh v Bromley
Guiseley v Grimsby
Torquay v Halifax

As well wanting a draw between Torquay and Halifax, and a defeat for Guiseley. We could do with Braintree cementing their playoff off place and Eastleigh and Dover being out of it by the time we play them.

As pissed off as I am Jim, I wouldn't go that far. And the more I contemplate the joys of Curzon  Ashton, the more I realise we HAVE to cling to the hope of escape.

Agreed Alty Dave and B4D.

We have had our time to complain, to moan, to bewail our fate.

But we are reslilent, we are tough, we are Alty

The fightback starts here - come on you red and white beauties!

We used to be, when we had some decent players. But not with this current lot and "manager". >:(

Aldershot don't score many, let in 8 at Chester last week, and apparently struggled to take a point from Torquay on Saturday. We simply HAVE to win this one and get that confidence boost we so badly need.

Well with Torquay v Halifax tonight, realistically whichever of the three possible outcomes abound it means the situation is going to get worse tonight before it gets better.  :(

I'd actually disagree with that wish, based on the following reasoning.

On the premise that rejuvenated Halifax will proceed to ease comfortably away from the relegation zone, I'd prefer them to win in Devon this evening as I view Torquay and Boreham Wood as the two clubs that we have to target finishing above.

Therefore, we really don't want Torquay picking up any point(s).

We desperately need to see Guiseley dragged into the relegation mire ASAP.

I suspect that the club towel was thrown into Anthony Griffith's bag when he left to pursue his fitness classes at Hale Country Club.
