Race Night | End of Season Awards | Fans Forum
« on: April 19, 2016, 09:05:25 AM »

The FA Cup Semi-Final between Everton & Manchester United will be shown in the Community Sports Hall on Saturday (Kick Off at 5.15pm) following our final home game against Welling United. This means that we need to adjust our schedule for the Race Night, End of Season Awards & Fans Forum.

A new schedule, including timings, will be agreed at tonight's TASC meeting & published tomorrow.

We should Get Tony Wilson in to compare the fans forum and have Oliver reed as special guest seeing as it's now essentially going to be an episode of after dark..

Can we get Tony Benn in to mutter darkly about conspiracies, the CIA and the need for direct democracy?

Without wishing to pre-judge until the schedule is agreed, I would have thought that this is more likely to impact on the timings for the End of Season Awards & Race Night, rather than the Fans Forum.

I don't understand why showing an FA Cup semi final on TV is being prioritised ahead of our fans forum.

Just shows how this club has got its priorities all wrong, and how out of touch with opinion they are

Scrap the race night, scrap player awards, scrap FA cup on TV - Let's have the fans forum starting at a time when most can attend, it could go on all night of course as well!

Why can't we just show the football on to, with no commentary and crack straight on with the fans forum after the game?  Nobody hears the commentary anyway because they're all chatting with their mates when a to game is on.

Great idea. I can possibly stay until 6pm at a push and would love to be there for the fans forum.

Sadly I wont be there on Sat but I must say that is one hell of a programme of events, especially if the footy goes to extra time.

There is almost a case for overnight accn being required for some of the out of towners....  ;)

You should get out of there in time to jump on the coach to Braintree  :D
