I was livid on Tuesday night to bow out of the trophy yet again to lower league opposition. Especially after two day hike to see us put out such a makeshift side. But it's gone now. We've 20 games to play, and need to be winning at least 7 of them. We've another horrendous away fixture on Saturday from which anything would be a bonus.

Next Tuesday sees us play our first home league fixture since 21st November. That's a long time for the club to go with mouth match day income. I know not everyone can get to midweek fixtures and I know the weather is cold. But the club really need as many people as possible to attend next Tuesday. We need the backing from the terraces and we need the financial boost of a decent attendance. Please don't think twice about it, get down and support the club. Get as many friends and family along also, midweek gates are usually poor in winter, but please let's get everyone down to moss lane behind the lads. If we are to survive we need to back the team at moss lane in these 12 homes games. Spread the word folks

Facebook events are good, can any of the Facebook admins create an event we can share, and get Altrincham Today, Mesenger and other local group's pages?

Completely agree, ludicrous attempt at humour, and while we're at it any maritime disaster will not be fitting!!!!
