« on: January 15, 2016, 04:42:44 PM »

FROM THE CLUB WEBSITE

Leamington FC have advised Altrincham that they are optimistic that Saturday's FA Trophy tie against Altrincham will go ahead as planned. They have, however, arranged a 9.30am pitch inspection and its outcome will be posted here as soon as it is known.

Here's a prediction for you - they do the inspection decide everything is fine, we travel again, during the warm up someone treads on the new turf and it comes away revealing gravel and ref calls it off

They have invested in some frost covers for the pitch:

Good effort that...hopefully they will provide the protection required.

Is there a zebra crossing under the cover?

Looks like a poor football imitation of a famous Beatles album cover.

I doubt Warwick races had large chunks of turf just relayed. My money is another postponement
