Biggest win since guiseley
« on: November 21, 2015, 05:04:10 PM »

I know some will disagree, but to be so flat and pull a result out considering our next two league games, and our usual form against the bottom 5, massive massive result, and out of 19th place for the first time in three months, delighted

Yes the 3 points is the main thing. Clee and Ranks made the difference after they came on, looked a different level to the rest of our forwards today.
Boreham Wood must be baffled about how they didn't score.

A lucky win but 3 points is the main thing and with tough fixtures to come we'll need to play a lot better than that

Well, that was a cure for insomnia, but a win is a win. I don't know who won motm, but for me it was either Griff or Si with a special mention for the improving Sam Heathcote - also loved the tireless running of Reevesy with absolutely no service whatsoever. Our subs were much much too good for their tiring legs and that was the difference.

Spot on assessment, Si was MOM.

Is that the worst win since Braintree last October? Anyway, three points, well done all.

On a side note, I see Colchester conceded another 4 today.

That defence of theirs is very poor....all three goals they gave away last week were sloppy and unprofessional. They're definitely vulnerable.

According to Skysports they have conceded more goals than any other team in the FL.

I think Boreham Wood are too tight and strong to go down, I'd be concerned if I were Welling, Barrow or Guisley.  Not out of the woods today ourselves.  Mind you just add 6pts to our tally and see where that puts us
