I wonder if we can stop bollocking about now and use some of the cup money to bring in the 2 or 3 loan players we urgently require if we are serious about staying up. If we continue with squads of 12/13 players, we are buggared.

Agreed, we need depth. I was praying for rain all day, too aoon after Sat. Some players still need to take a look at themselves, I'll have they are shattered but a couple looked as if they couldn't be arsed. Doesn't feel like a derby,  always poor atmosphere by both sets of fans.m

Just thankful we came through with no new injuries. A derby isn't the place to be blooding and 18!year old for a full debut. We can't take many more of these on the chin else the relegation battle will be upon us. Need a central defender, And a pacey outlet in on loan sharpish

Defo need a centre back, centre mid to go alongside Jake and Simon and as you say Pete a pacey outlet. One of my close mates supports Macc, I just hate it haha! I would honestly give the players the entire week off. They need to refill their tanks quickly before Sat.

Chalk and cheese

I witnessed some of the most committed football in 30 years on Saturday then what was served up in that second half was an insult to the 318 fans who made an effort getting there

Pass after pass after pass went wayward

Terrible second half but for some reason I don't feel angry but more defkatrd  I just had a feeling we'd be shattered after the effort on Sat but saying that some players Leather, Moult and Richman put in the effort. I know they are generally fitter lads but some players need a bollocking after that. Thought Sinnott did OK too!

*deflated - even I am still shatterd from Sat haha! A game to forget but already I have a feeling the Colchester game will go the same way as tonight if we don't get a couple more players in.

Yup. Men v boys in the second half.

I worry about many things at the moment, not least our inability to create chances. How many across 90 minutes tonight? And our inability to affect a game when going behind....

Ive made arrangements to go to Bromley but fear more of the same....

We never got out of the changing rooms for the second half and Dennis and Whitehead ran rings round us, but we started the game the brighter and had Reeves scored at 0-1 it could have been very different. Their first goal came against the run of play and the second knocked the stuffing out of us. Cant remember a squad being so small and in such desperate need of reinforcement. Some fresh loan signings needed before this tough run of games.

I don't suppose Colchester had us watched tonight.....pity. They'd have gone away thinking we were totally devoid of ideas and application. And whilst ultimately it would have made little difference, I thought the referee was absolute dogsh*t. .
