Boreham wood - match thread
« on: September 23, 2015, 04:02:49 PM »

Only won one home game, one draw and four defeats, however announcing a new first team coach at 5pm today and have signed Clovis Kamdajo the midfielder from fgr on loan and striker zane Blanton on Loan from Luton.

Let's hope we can get some sort of result, it says the game will be segregated and no access to bar for away fans which suits me. Let's hope for a decent following at a new ground.

Hoping we go with a 4-5-1 and get that first away win, no easy games in this league, but a chance for us here, hope to see densmore back and if parry doesn't come back a quality midfielder in on loan for weekend

Who's going to Borehamwood tomorrow? Me and jimmy are going from Cambridge, their manager is billing the game as their biggest at this level to date, are lots of exiles going to be in attendance?

I'll be there. On the supporters mini bus. Should be a good game although it's a shame Radio Robbins can't broadcast it.

Web site says it is segregating for their first 7 matches and will then review it. Probably a good idea whilst they find their feet at this level.

I'm going (also from Cambridge) and am meeting a couple of mates there. Looking forward to this - first game since Tranmere.

Nobody gets relegated in September etc...

This game could prove significant to the teams confidence and mental approach.  Last Saturday was shocking and I feared a battering in midweek, but we came away with a decent point.  I want Alty to put on a proper display for this one to build on the Lincoln result, and to put the farce V Braintree behind them.  It's one of those games where the performance is almost as important as the result.  Would I take a crap showing and a win? Yes, but it'd allay none of the fears that last weekend brought to the fore.

Come on Alty

I'm going for a 2 -1 Alty win.
