Thought he did everything on Saturday - held up the ball, ran at people, did a few tricks, won headers at both ends and set up the winner. Brilliant.

Can't argue with that, did superbly for the winner too.

And for the first time I saw inklings of a partnership with Reevesey when he came on.

IMO, Reeves should be the FIRST name on the team sheet. Top goal scorer and all that.  :o

Reeves' form this season when he has come on hasn't been great - poor first touch and keeps falling over.

Or rather, those three have been playing well while reeves has been on the bench.

Having reeves as first name on team sheet resulted in him scoring 20 goals and us displaying play off form for a couple of months so not really accurate.

Reeves will get better the more he plays.

Definitely don't want to talk down the legend that is Reevesy, but it is more than just game time he needs - it looks like his confidence has taken a bit of a knock at some point. I hope that Lee can be the person who can put an arm round the lad and he can get back to his brilliant best again. From my first viewing of Michael Rankine at Guiseley, I have been mightily impressed by both his effort and his professionalism. I'm not 100% sure he needs a strike partnertbh, as he is a beast of a man - thank God he plays for us.

He would be my first choice on the team sheet.
When we heard he wasn't starting at Southport, we all felt gutted.

Had a good feeling about Rankine right from his first interview after signing. Seems such a genuine, decent guy and his performances so far are making him a firm favourite. Long may it continue, and when Reevesey hits form we'll have a forward line that gives teams nightmares.

been immense, him and reeves could work very well indeed. him bulldozing the defense and reeves smashing them in.
