Michael Rankine to sign
« on: June 03, 2015, 06:55:42 PM »

Seems like a very good signing to me, he'll certainly offer something we don't have. Excellent interview with him on the main site as well. Welcome to Alty.

Welcome to Alty Micheal.

Bullied us up at Gateshead and another tall player which will give us another dimension.

Could form a great partnership with Reevesie especially if they know each other.  Very pleased with this.

Indeed, one of the best interviews I've read from a new recruit.

It looks like our whole "doing things properly thing" really paid off in this instance.

Looks a very good addition to the squad and a good lad too if that interview is anything to go by.

Welcome to Alty, Michael!  :)

Interesting to see if LS scraps the lone striker in favour of 4-4-2 to accommodate both him and Damian?.

Welcome to Alty Michael.
Nice to see another striker alongside Damo who has a bit of pace.
Enjoy your stay.

Good luck michael  as for playing 4 4 2 I thing richman and moult had very good seasons but would I trust them in a 2 man midfield probably not infact Id say 4 4 2 is abit risky anyway

That's clearly his favourite choice of headgear:

Absolutely fantastic signing. Welcome to Alty. believe he lives in Donny so can car share with his strike partner.

Right winger next please

Yes - encouraging signing this, plenty of experience, physical presence up front and sounds like a good lad to boot based on his interview

Agree Jimmy, happy with signing. Although health warning if this guy an upgraded Perry? He played more games in a better team but scored less goals - last season

That said if he can provide for Reeves happy days

How Cambridge?
