One I'm pleased with though.

Indeed. If that's the level of incoming talent they're attracting, can't see them reaching the play-off any time soon 

He has scored 100 goals in 131 appearances in his career and was rumoured to be on 750 a week at Stockport. The County fans think he'll do the business at this level.

Yeah, I agree with that, nonetheless it is an impressive goal to game ratio. He still had a better than 1 in 2 goal rate for a poor Stockport team who's midfield supplying him last season was apparently useless (and often not playing him as striker). I expect he won't be Macc's first choice anyway, they are rumoured to have a much improved budget and have released all the strikers (none of which scored more than 10) so that they can get better replacements.

Andrai Jones played well at right back when we played them last season and has improved considerably since we had him on loan from Bury a few years ago. Could offer some cover across the back four.

I think we're okay at the back with Scott Leather able to play either full back or centre half. Prefer him in the centre though so if Jones has improved that much and is local then yeh heard worse ideas.

I saw that news on the BBC.  I don't think I've seen the bloke play, but I'd like to believe we were aware of his availability and thought better of it, as opposed to being totally unaware.
