Shows how stupid the whole idea of playing Trophy rounds at fortnightly intervals thru Jan & Feb in order to play the final in March is. The competition is now so downgraded that its future has to be uncertain.
(By the way, Jack, it is Farmer Pace's Field they're using - they haven't conceded 'home advantage' (!).)

I think it's a total disgrace that they moved the final to March just to suit clubs who don't even regard the competition to begin with.

I agree absolutely - but the fact of the Conference playoffs and the insistence on using Wembley as the venue for both playoff & Trophy finals has probably put paid to it. Sadly, money talks, and the Conference has a large proportion of clubs who don't really buy into the non-League ethos & think of themselves as League clubs on sabbatical.
