Didn't he come on as an outfield substitute against Emley when we beat them 7-1 in 1997/98?

I don't know when his first appearance as a goalkeeper for us was, although he very quickly replaced Andy Dibble as our number 1 keeper in 1998/99.

Did Neill Hardy also make his second debut for us in that game and score the winning goal?

I believe that Stuart was Altrincham FC manager John King's last signing for the club.

Yes, Niell Hardy did score the winning goal that night.

However, his second debut for Alty had occurred on the preceding Saturday in a 2-1 defeat at Hucknall Town (in which he also scored the Robins' goal).

What was the last game of his first spell with the club, and what was his first game on his return?
