NLP at it again

'Evevtually the pressure told and Adam Griffins shot caught the Kiddy napping and Reeves fired home in style.

So reads the sentence in the NLP describing Reeves winner yesterday. Brilliant. In addition James Lawrie is referred to as 'Laurie' throughout.

Talk about journalistic licence. I could have sworn it was a highly accurate cross to the back post that Reeves headed firmly downward into the corner.

Describing Altringham Town's win at Moss Rose: "Eventually the pressure told and Peter Griffin's goal kick caught the Kiddy napping and Christopher Reeve fired home in style."

Apparently Dad's Army actor John Laurie scored our first - Kiddie were "Doomed!" from that moment on!

It's not just the press is it though  ::)

Yesterday the MotM was awarded to your 'Number 9' Damien Reeves and in the programme he was called Kevin Reeves.

Fair point. I did note the Kevin Reeves one with bemusement, I've never heard him mistaken for the prematurely retired 1980s MCFC player before.

Incidentally, does no one have the Internet in Kidderminster? About 10 posts on your forum for the entire match. If we'd lost a match having been ahead this place would be up to about 5 pages on Monday morning.
