Gateshead away in 1996.

2-0 down early on against our 'bogey' team.

Win 3-2 via a late Paul France header.

One of my first away matches 2 down at Boston won 3-2 Martin baker winner 89-90 wouldev been a class player but for injury

Superb one....a week after we lost 5-0 at Colne in the Trophy.

Agree about Martin 'Bambi' Baker as well. About a week after he broke his leg, I taxi'd him back to his home in Leeds for which I was paid £750 by the club. ::) ::) ::)

And I bet that you claimed the petrol back via Yell expenses, too......

Martin Baker left a brown envelope in my car, which contained all the X-Rays of his broken leg. I posted them back to him the following day for a fee of £392.

A Stuart Terry penalty at the Golf Road End to win it, as I recall?

Yeah, I thought that was that case. I remember the Golf Road End falling silent before he took it and the ecstatic scenes when the penalty went in. Lovely stuff! :)

I think that won 5-2 there on August Bank Holiday Saturday in 2001, after going 2-0 down.

Rod Thornley scored a hat trick & I think Ian Craney may have got one.

The Leek Town 0-3 to 4-3 was the first I remember as a young supporter, the week before we played Notts County at home in the cup. Sat in the stand with my dad, later on the topsy turvy 78 game against Southport was just brilliant, 2 down at HT, clawed it back really near the end, then they scored, we equalised in added time as their fans were leaving in droves, then they scored again, they piled back in only for JJ (I think) to make it 4-3. On to Droylsden and Spurs. What days. As for Mossley, I left at 1-5 an heard the cheers all the way back to the station.

I once saw jack jolly come back from the bar with a round in - it was emotional.

Not a big comeback but those two late goals at Brackley last year were very cathartic
