In my dreams, I still see Mickey Brooke's 30 yarder hit the bar at Ewood Park in the last moments of the game. We was robbed  ::)



Ah, the late Mickey Brooke.

A splendid club man, whether playing in midfield; as a striker or at left full back.

I recall him scoring a fine goal in that FA Cup Second Round 2-0 victory at Droylsden in December 1978, which secured our first visit to Tottenham Hotspur.
