Blyth match thread/ Predictions
« on: November 06, 2014, 09:16:25 AM »

Same league but different challenge than barwell. They will be well up for it, so we've got to be at it from kick off and try and silence a hostile local crowd. Think we will have a big following backing us, as previous sunday FA Cup ties at newcastle blue star and Burton have proved.

As for team, I'll wait and see who's fit, what chance a road to Damascus style recovery for nicky clee?

I have a feeling this will go to a replay.

1-1 with a Reeves goal cancelled out by a second half penalty for Blyth.

Play like we did first 55 minutes against Lincoln and we can start planning our 3rd round trip to Anfield.

Horrid pitch up there. Passing as to be on point and we need to do our long range curler thing we've done in 2 out of the last 3.

As I said on the Barwell thread, I fancy the lads to have a decent cup run this year.
Yes its a long way, yes they will be up for it. Yes the pitch will probably be a bit iffy, but at the end of the day they are two leagues lower than us, we give them respect but don't fear them. Get at them from the off and hopefully get a home draw in the next round.

Blythe 1 - 3 Alty. Reeves2 , Moult.

Either a convincing 4-1 win or a dismal 0-1 defeat. Can't decide which.

A tough battle - physical with it.  Quite likely to go to a replay.

Superstition stops me predicting but they have lost 1 in 11 so have come into form at a good time.  That said we are no slouches and bounced back from Alfreton really well on Tuesday.

One plus is the pitch looks decent from this picture pinched off Twitter that can only help us..

While talking to yet another A & E doctor, Nicky decides his life as a footballer has all been a sham, and he decides to start a management consultancy, with robininstockport as his head of PR?

Play with the same determination and skill as we did for an hour on Tuesday we'll win, concede first and start lumping it then we probably wont. So KP on the bench with Lawrie behind Reeves in the middle - please.
