They were told by the League to change it, having refused Alty's request initially.

Typical Telford. Bloody horrible place. From someone who lives 12 miles up the road.

Hi Distance Traveller. I hope you are OK. I'm Mayor of Broseley (even nearer to Telford than DT in Shrewsbury) again this year and we have a mega important meeting of the council on11 NOV. This is about Shropshire Council dismantling all the public services we have left so it would have been difficult to miss. When the fixture list came out in the summer I swore about this date. How good is this change for me?

Unlike DT I have been a casual supporter of Telford United over the years. It really grieves me that they would not agree voluntarily to change the fixture to Wednesday given our long trip to Blyth on Sunday. Would Alty have done the same? Having said that how good is the Conference management to force the issue? Very good news.

Please, please, please can we play better than last year.

It never ceases to amaze how obvious sarcasm goes over some peoples heads on here.
