The Club is delighted to announce the recruitment of two full time personnel to set up and run the Community Sports Hall (CSH) which opens for business in January 2015. Both were appointed after an open recruitment exercise, with interviews conducted by a panel drawn from the Community section, the CSH project team, and Club Board. This recruitment attracted an outstanding field including some very good friends of Altrincham FC, and the Club is grateful to all who applied.
Stacey Rowley has been appointed as CSH General Manager and starts formally on 1 December 2014. Already a Club volunteer, Stacey has highly relevant marketing, management and administration experience from the sports, hotel, conference and logistics industries.
Judy Henson has been appointed as CSH Deputy Manager and a member of the community outreach team. She also starts formally on 1 December 2014. New to the Club, Judy has several years invaluable experience working in sports and leisure centres in North Yorkshire and Trafford, is a qualified football coach and runs her own blog on women’s football.
Stacey and Judy will share the load of providing CSH management cover across the week (up to 7days/week, 13 hours per day), and it is expected there will be future opportunities for part-time staff to support them as the volume of CSH business builds.
