Just a tip-off for those who travel to games by tram - there are no trams between Timperley & Altrincham on Saturday due to engineering works - replacement buses will be running. Congratulations to Metrolink on continuing their policy of fouling up weekend travel on a regular basis ...

Frustrating I know, down here in SW London we regularly get the same thing with suburban rail services, why they can't work at night I don't know. They do weekends and public holidays to avoid costly refunds to season ticket holders who are much more savvy than your occasional weekend user.
