Shame it didn't work out for him as I know he was a decent player.

However this is very good news I think and hopefully means we can sign a right sided replacement that could actually play/come on.

Thought this was a good signing when we got him, pity for both us and him it didn't go to plan.

I guess Smickle may give up football after this, so good luck to him whatever he does.

Pity he didn't produce his Kiddy form for Alty. Don't care what his critics say, on his day he was very good. Sadly we never got to see that.

It is however he had such a lack of confidence it wouldn't surprise me because his poor performances were not down to effort
