65/6 was WWWDWWWWWDDDWDW to December 11 interspersed with 6 wins and a draw in the FA Cup, a win and a draw in the Cheshire League Cup and two wins in the inaugural season of the north west floodlight league.  Our first defeat was at wolves on the 22 nd  January 1966.  That will take some beating.

Our first league defeat was at Runcorn on 5th February

And the only other one was at Bangor when we'd already won the title if I'm not mistaken?
