I hate to say this, but it would be a better result for us!

Still, we can get a minimum 4 points off the Vics again next season!

Gravesend & N. v Halifax T.           home win
Rushden & D v Weymouth              not bothered
St Albans C. v Morecambe              away win
Stevenage B. v Kidderminster H.    not bothered
Tamworth v Northwich V                 away win

thought that at first but then thought... what wud ya prefer, another team really in the fight or one gaining points below us. so thort a draw may be best.

A Northwich win is best for us. I don't consider them to be part of the relegation picture despite the fact they are not yet safe.

Logic demands a Vics win but I just can't bring myself to wish for it!
A draw would be good though.  ;)

in my eyes

Aldershot 3-2     Exeter                        R    meh

Forest Green 0-0 Grays Athletic           R good

Gravesend 2-0   Halifax                        R good

Rushden & D'monds 4-1 Weymouth     R  meh

St Albans 0-2   Morecambe                   R good

Stevenage 1-2    Kidderminster            R meh

Tamworth 0-1 Northwich                      R good

so overall not a bad non playing evening. we now lie 18th in the league.

Absolutely perfect set of results!
When we do the business at St Albans, we'll be able to see a real bit of daylight (hopefully!)

BighairedMike.  Top man - you predicted it exactly as it happened.  You should be on the pools panel!

Good thing about tonight is that most of the games in hand are now out of the way and we have all played 41 (except Northwich who look OK and Halifax who don't).  Makes it easier to compare who's left in it.

Gonna be tight.

Good night for us tonight, but it's still tighter than a nun's crutch.

A win on Saturday and i can smell Oxford away again.
