Afc Fylde on for reeves?

Heard a rumour today that big spending afc Fylde are preparing a move for Damien reeves!!
Can't see reevesy dropping down a level but money talks, hope this is not true.

Unless he changes his mind he said he will not join another non league club ,kept to his word so far so doubt he would change.

They probably have made an enquiry, they have the resources, and have probably been told no from both club and player, this sort of farce is why football is f**ked....

It is when works teams are bidding for proper footballers, Linotype or central might aswell put a bid in for him...

It's disrespectful to the player, its like Watford bidding for Lionel Messi  just because they have more money now than most in the championship

A daft comparison besides Sheffield united tried to get maradona in the late 70s im glad Colin little didn't  find joining alty disrespectful

Putting in a bid for a player knowing you have no chance of getting him can create optimism among the fans as it could be seen as showing ambition.

on the other hand if you're a chicken farming owner of Blacnburn Rovers and go on about signing Beckham etc you end up looking an arse.  Egg on their faces so to speak.

Colin little was finishing his career, not hitting 50 goals a season in his mid twenties..
