Current chester side would beat both of them, its so hard to compare though.

but imo the only thing im sure of is we can give guiseley more than enough to think about in the play off final......

To me guiseley looked better than Chester but that's not to say we can't go up

chester were in top gear for like 20 minutes against us, at the time we were'nt anywhere near as organised, and guiseleys best player is holsgrove  :o

Guiseley were the only team we have played this season who were better than us in my opinion.  That said, so they should be the money they are on and the time they have spent having a go at it year on year.

chester are streets ahead of any team including hyde last season i have seen us play, i dont think ive seen a team kill a game and take their foot off the pedal like they did at moss lane since the bsp.

For me I'd have Rod up front with Reeves. No slight on Colin but he and Reeves are too similar whereas Rod had that extra acceleration to run in behind

The latest posts seem to agree that the majority of any hypothetical team would come from the current team which is a fair turn around from the first post which suggested only two of the current sidre would get in to the 2005 team , not that any oif it matters!

Now reconsidered

Duncan is clearly a central striker rather than a wide player so I'd have him and Reeves through the middle

The question no-one has addressed is: which Coburn would you pick - the 2005 version or the 2013 one?

for me he drifts in and out of each position and it works perfectly as a foil for reeves,

he drifts so deep and wide and also the good work you see for his goal comes from his wide play and he turned the centre back in the box like a winger with ease, oh and then the finish of a striker! whatever his true position is, what a player he is!

2005 snack bar food or 2013 snack bar food?

But on a serious note, I'd go with earlier Coburn
