Reeves
Clee
Watmore

But i would trust any of the current squad to take a penalty.
That suggests that you haven't seen Densmore take one.....................

I have a theory about forwards taking penalties:

Many forwards score by instinct and a penalty taker will often have too much time to think about what they are doing - Reevesy said he changed his mind when he took Saturday's penalty. I think it is often best when forwards don't take pens - look at Man U where Van Persie and Rooney have both recently missed pens and Chelsea where Lampard rarely misses!

Thoughts?

Sounds logical. I quite like fullbacks who take penalties - Steven Aspinall, Denis Irwin, Ian Harte, Matt Doughty.

They never normally score goals, so they certainly aren't going to cock up their chance to get on the score sheet -  just pick a spot and smash it!

The penalty King was Heathcote, Cult will correct me but I dont recall him ever missing one.

I believe that Graham Heathcote may only have missed a total of two penalties for Alty.

I certainly witnessed one of those rare events and, of course, it inevitably occurred against our nemesis, Dave "Slob" Ryan, at The Drill Field...

Do you know how many pens deadly Graham scored in total?

Grahame Heathcote cetainly missed one v. Witton Albion, GOALKEEPER saved by the right hand post @ the old Chequers End. The goalkeeper received inside info from Alan Heathcote who was with Witton.

George, I remember that game: wasNorth West Floodlight League.  We won 2-1, John Davison scored a pen and Brian Le Boutillier came off the bench 77-78 season

Phil Neal - one of the best pen takers in living memory.
