I was there - can report the Summerskill hair is still gelled in place, but - shock horror - he actually made a tackle! Good game - Curzon shot themselves in the foot (twice) but managed to get back on terms, then young Ollerenshaw did the business in the shoot-out. If we got the winner of Curzon v Maltby Main in 2nd Qual we couldn't really complain ... Brilliant piece in the programme by one Noddy @ The Nash, from which I quote -
" Jim Rushe ... is using the club like someone's favourite old car, taking it for a ride, crashing it into other cars, bringing it back and saying 'it's a bit of a mess I'm afraid, sorry!' .... Criminal what's happening to that club although it's not the only one which is suffering from an _-_-_ in charge."
