Ecky

I have never made any attempt to hide my reasoning for not wanting Steve Connors here amd you are as well aware of them as anyone.

However, for anyone who has been lucky enough to miss out on my repeated diatribes on the subject I will repeat them again.

A) His injury record is, at best poor. Irrespective of the eventual outcome in the courts, him having his contract cancelled at Cambridge due to injury doesn't exactly contradict that perspective does it?

B) His disciplnary record is, shall we say, not the greatest.

With a small squad like we have I would just suggest that we cannot afford to have a player who may well miss as many games as he plays

HOWEVER

If he is fit (and has some chance of staying so) and he can significantly improve his disciplinary record then of course a player of his type would be useful.

And incidentally, despite many re-reads i cannot see any reference to Dens in this thread. Perhaps old age has indeed finally caught up with me?

I'm 100% with ATS on this one.
