Was as fine a left back as I've seen at the club. Remember him once skinning dan Petrescu in a run virtually from box to box in a friendly at Moss Ln v Bradford.

danny left huddersfield in january after being told he would not get a new contract,obviously sammy knows him from macc days and brought him in as we were short of experienced cover at the back and blacky was injured.he has fitted in well and looks very confident and assured,you can see he has played at a higher level.
back in npl days alty was always a big game for us as you were a top team then in 70s,i remember losing 0-2 at your place in the f a trophy and alex stepney was in goal for you,probably late 1970s.
your away form is crap,only one win away! where did you win?
hope you stay up with scouseport,need as many northern teams as possible,although hopefully we will be in league 2 via play-offs,i hate play-offs,not good for the old ticker,perhaps you will find out in the future.

We won at Weymouth last Saturday... our form over the last couple of games is not bad... winning 5-0 at home to Cambridge and 2-1 at weymouth.

We have only won 1 away all season but we also have avoided defeat in half our away games so far.
