how many of our fans play/played football?

I'll start it off, played for rangers youth team, ladybarn and the mighty bricklayers arms! (we were on sky sports for picking up the least points in a season once) very proud!

I not only played for, but also managed, the Crewe Safeway football team. I was our only scorer against the Alty Presto/Safeway and we lost 4-0 - one defeat amongst many!

I'm mainly famous for my trademark removal of my glasses prior to my rapier like headers, but it's a little known fact I once nutmegged Lee sharp in his pomp while representing st ambrose swimming class under 7 V versus lee sharp guest I. It was a magical moment

did i ever tell you áll that at one time i had scored more goals on weymouths pitch than altrincham had in several attempts.

His goal in the 7-a-side tournament at Upton againt Southport's supporters team a few years back was the stuff of legend (though hardly the highlight of his career!).

It's fair to say he can play a bit, yes!   :)

Released by Man u at 16, drifted in and out of stockports first team in the late 90's before succumbing to a two footer from Gary Stuart on stanny park, been getting pissed and teasing idiots on the forum ever since

I scored the winning penalty in the Staff v Supporters game in 2005. Not bad considering I was 21 stone at the time. The highlight of my  playing career so far.

Did a lad called Lloyd Gale play on that team? Possibly a lad called Christie as well - Lloyd's brother in law, I think?
