Can we do the Physio next.

How do you answer that?  Who outside of the dressing room knows what he "brings".

He was chosen by Lee Sinnott as someone localish with a knowledge of the Conference North I think.  Seems a passionate guy to me who wants to win.

He wears a tracksuit on the touchline, what more do you want?

Seriously though, what a bloody stupid post. No one on here has any idea what his coaching is like behind the scenes.

Also, I imagine he has a hand in bringing Lynch, Lees and Smart here, all of whom have been fairly decent.

Based on the fact he is a former football league forward I would guess a lot of what is good about our current team (attack) is within his remit

Having spoken to Nicky Clee after the Nuneaton game I believe the correct title is in fact "Sports Rehabilitator".

Ecky out!

I'm guessing he lives local which obviously means he can attend games if Lee can't

Lee believes he compliments his style of management

Most of this board wants passion, well he defiantly brings that

What does he bring to Alty ?

Probably the same thing any assistant manager brings: Advice on tactics, local scouting knowledge, enthusiasm and direction from the touchline.....

I get the impression Tolson, is a lot more than a 'yes man' who just nods his head and goes along with everything Lee says. Tolson doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who is afraid to voice his opinion if he disagrees with, for example, a substitution Sinnott wants to make.

Not sure what are you trying to get at with this post? Is it the first of a bring back Dalton Steele campaign? or are you suggesting Lee Sinnott is a great manager but is being held back by Tolson?

I seem to recall reading that he lives in (West) Yorkshire...?

I presume that he undertakes a lot of the scouting of opposition teams, seeing as our manager is exiled in darkest Hull.

He does possess something that I hope that we never need to tap into i.e. experience of a relegation battle in the BSN!
