Today is the day...

...that the last time we were in the Conference North, we reignited our playoff hopes with an unexpected 2-1 win in Yorkshire.

This day7 years ago (very) late goals from Val Owen and Rod Thornley earned us a win at Bradford Park Avenue.

But this day last year - and more in keeping with recent "big match" performances, a nailed on 0-0 at Forest Green slipped away and in the end saw us down...

Indeed, the combination of inspiration and perspiration in our midfield  when we had those two players was a joy to behold. Credit where it's due, GH really did make some quality signings in the summer of 2004.
