Enjoyed my day out in Alty today despite the scoreline. Thought you played some good stuff, but unfortunately, the final 1/3 today at least was poor... the substitute no. 16 had a good cameo, he seemed to have some pace and a couple of tricks up his sleeve. It was great to come to such a friendly club (where you all seem to read this forum!), and be able to move around the terraces to get the best vantage point!

When Shrews fixtures allow, I'll be back for sure. Best of luck for next season.

I started watching Alty in 1963. Throughout the 70's Northwich was a bigger needle derby than Macc, though Macc and Wigan were always enemies and games we looked forward to and we usually collected the points. Looks like both are getting relegated and Vics facing extinction just like the Liverchicken which they went to Skem to find

Interesting perspective from a neutrals point of view that it was the attack that let us down...admittedly we scored from a needless penalty but hyde got two of the buggers and got the 2nd goal through yet another defensive gift....I think the promised smile on our faces from our manager pre season has only come from a gallows humour about our comedy defending.
