Not good enought a point

We couldn't have done anymore.  Three points were needed but we battered them

If we hadn't have capitulated against Bishop's Stortford last Saturday, then a draw at Boston United would have been more than acceptable.

As things stand, is a point enough in our current situation?

Who knows?!

I think Stalybridge, Gainsborough, Worcester. Guiseley and Halifax have all either lost or drawn so it's not too much of a loss overall.

I meant a point not being good enough at this stage, not the performance.

Wonder what the story was at colwyn Bay ?

They had 2 men sent off when the score was 1-0 ... and apparently that was a very dubious penalty.

We played very well today, the better side for the majority and created some good chances.

Reeves and McGivern are clearly developing a good understanding and Clee is a good solution to the left back issue for now. Lynch had a top game at CB too and for an away game we actually defended very well for a change. Watmore also really livened things up when he came on and could be a key figure for the run in.

Overall a good away day, decent point and a good atmosphere. Officials below par though and missed Lee the Boston sub elbowing Nicky Clee and Bastock taking out Richman with a blatant shoulder charge which should have been a penalty. Our recent away days in the East have seen some good football. Reasons to be optimistic for the run in definitely.
