Well done Alty.

You outplayed us in every department tonight and fully deserved your win. We were shocking.. i mean, really shocking, but that doesn't take away how you deserved 5 if not more tonight. There's a lot to be said for your fighting spirit. Here's hoping we both stay up this season.

P.S. Nice set of fans in the club after, especially the big loud fella (tall, shaven head) called Joe!

what windmill joe them one man wrecking machine??? lol my eyes have only just gone back to the right colour after southport!!!!! (i actually just moved out of the way in time after thinking mabe someone should calm joe down!!!)

a) bringing so many fans so far on a Tuesday night
b) not singing "You're going down"
c) still singing (a bit) towards the end of the match..

Having been at the end of one or two 5-0 defeats you have our sympathy but we need the points more than you   ;D

Cheers. We never ever sing 'Going down' because we know how hard it was dropping out of the league and how much relegation hurts so we do have some sympathy!

Does anyone have an official number for the away support last night by the way?

A refreshing change to be told we deserved a win instead of the usual "Outplayed Alty pull off miracle victory with 5 smash n grab scrambled shambles of onion bag punishment"

It restores some faith in the conf reminding us that there are still some genuine footy fans around!

Not to take anything away from Grays and York who have proved a good bunch too!

If its any consolation, gutted to beat you 5-0 and draw with northwich, other way round would have made my year!

Still, good luck for the rest of the season!

Looked to me to be way more that 157. Seemed more like 250 to me. It was good support considering a night match and the distance involved.
