I feel very sorry for you all, I cannot think of anything more frustrating, we left at 430 so must have only just made it through, it was still a scene of utter chaos when we passed on the way back.

Frightening stuff that......any of us travelling down could have been involved.I hope the truck drivers were OK?

According to BBC North West this morning the motorway was closed for 11 hours.
