I was sorry to hear lee has had to miss this game. I did not go so will not comment on the game. I just want to say lee has stated the defence is wank so I believe he has it in hand to change things. We all should give him a chance as Rome was not built in a day.

Agree, it is not our front line that is the issue, it is the defence.

All this talk of changing forwards is totally irrelevent in my opinion. The talk should be the disaster at the back and how to improve that.

You cant do well if you cant defend.

Simple,get rid of Williams back to his own club and start by replacing him with somebody who can defend and distribute the ball to a player in an Alty shirt.With Telford getting beat again,hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later.I don't like going over the top criticising our own players but  he is not our player anymore and if his ambition is to be a regular choice central defender at Conference Premier level,then he has got some massive improvements to make to his game.

I would have Stan Allan at RB, Gerry Casey and Ryan Shotton in the middle and John Davison at LB. The goaile would not really matter behind them, but my choice would be Alex Stepney ahead of Peter Eales. Then stick Heathcote, King and Barrow in midfield and Swindells,Green and Showler upfront and we will stroll this so called `tin pot` league.
