Hang on, why setting off at 9:30?

I thought it only took about 2 and a half hours to get there when we went last season?

Well, I'm booked on now, for better of for worse, in sickness and in health etc

Taking into account that it's the last weekend before Christmas and also given the recent wretched weather conditions, I suppose we have to prepare for the worst case scenario in order to ensure the coach gets there in time.

However, it'll be definite Nobby Notraffic followed by Dennis Birch-type complaints about being there far too early.  :D

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Blyth is 3 hours according to google maps

9:30 - 1hr 30 drive

stop at services around 11ish

back on the road for 11:30 - then a 1hr 30 drive

gets you there for around 1pm and thats without any traffic....... - and Im sure got stuck in traffic going to the NE last season Im sure (either gateshead or blyth in the cup)

Booked on  - BTW im doing Radio robins with Brian, so im sure that may sway a few people to come along instead of tuning in!  :D
