If you take away the occasion, the weather and look at it like for like, if Lawries thunderbolt had gone in I think it may have been better than Freemans in '95.

I was at the Golf Road end when James hit that shot - I did not know at the time who hit and had to ask during the meeting. There was a collective gasp when that shot went goalbound, I gutted when that did not go in, because that must have been close to 100 mph, seriously. I thought the goals were going to collapse and fold themselves round Paul Bastock, thereby finishing a long and illustrious career!

Jeez that was travelling like an Exocet when it whammed the bar.
