A lot of websites have splash pages to advertise up and coming events and/or products before you arrive at the homepage. How easy would it be to set this up for the forum and/or official website?

I reckon if we had something like that running in conjunction with a website that enables people to join fundraising schemes instantly online (especially the Yankee) we might really be able to drive these initiatives forward a lot more and raise significantly more cash for the club.

They cause an amazing amount of bounces (people leaving the site and going no further), the better practice with the way both the sites are set up is to place them in the top of the site. In the heading area of the official site and in the news block on the forum.

Since Robert O'neil is doing a site for the radio robins possibly incorporating it there would also be a good idea.
