Keeping the headphones on still, just in case the missus doesn't realise the game's over!

and we did better than QPR (QPR   0 - 2   Rochdale). it would have been us but for those 2 lost votes!

Following the Star Trek theme from earlier Mrs Bath Alty says "We are Borg - once one of us knows we all know"  Sorry!

Not sure if this is anything to go by but we're still on the same points as Halifax so all is not lost.

Disappointed tonight but there's still time to get things right.

Exactly - not what we deserved but another point

The "big 4"

Alty played 4, points 5
Halifax played 4, points 5
Nuneaton played 4, points 4
Boston played 4, points 4

Bring on Saturday!

We were bossing that midfield until the manager took lynch off why the f**k not leave it be when it works. OK Clee was injured but Lynch looked ok.. I hope Mr Sinnott isnt one of those managers who is always fkn about with subs throughout games.

Not impressed with that last 10 minutes

Fkn Darlington last season all over again...

We were pissing that game until Lynch went off

If he wasnt injured then it was just a fkn ridiculous decision

Hence the wise words my Dad sasid to me today, ''It's always a cagey start in the first five games''. We could still win the league; there is always pressure in a new league with a new manager just give the lads time and I'm sure we can attain a respectable league position in or around the play-offs.

We can dominate this league if the squad can find a real way to play and just stop taking their foot off the pedal once we have a 2-0 lead. We were lucky at Histon that they didn't score, and I think the lads learnt their lesson after today's 'typical alty' slip up.

Consistency is the key.

Cmon Alty!

Agree about the substitution of Lynch, we were looking good to get three points until he went off, however I don't particularly think we were cruising the game, and with Lynch on or not, Vauxhall looked like they could snatch a goal.

We took our foot completely off the gas at 2-0 and it created a mentality for the second half in which we invited the pressure onto ourselves. We cant expect to just go onto autopilot at 2-0 and let the rest of the game take care of itself.

We gave them there point then, it should have been sealed for sure, take a striker off at 2-0 and say goodnight the bars shut but no what do we do.....make a daft sub that forced no conclusion to the scoring

I suppose one way to look at it, is that we are now unbeaten in three league games but I'm sure most won't see it like that.

The team have been maddingly inconsistent so far and defensively away from home especially, we appear to be giving away soft goals. Lets be honest neither Harrogate or VM will get in the Play Offs so leaking 5 goals at them two is not good.

Hyde away on Saturday will be our toughest game of the season so far and with a fair bit of spice with all the Hyde old boys on our staff too, lets see how we respond at Ewen Fields then.

Draw was a fair result and Vauxhall won't be amonsgt the worst sides we play this year.  Their number 9 was the best player on the pitch and the number 11 caused us a few problems as well.

Think we actually scored too early if thats possible in the second half if thats possible.  We then let them come onto us (and you would expect them to as the home team chasing a game) but we didnt look in too much danger.

Then a good strike for their goal and you almost knew it would end 2-2.

Maybe Lynch had a knock or a strain...if he didnt then it was that subsitution that changed it...sometimes they win you games and sometimes they don't work.

Summerskill actually did quite well when he came on but the physical presence of Lynch was keeping them at bay.

Disappointed at throwing away the lead but credit to Vauxhall as well, they deserved their point.

Sorry to say that Reeves had one of those games where he didn't show up..lets hope he has got that out of his system
