I should have thought that having now completed the interview process, the panel would need to consider their decision and, having decided, offer the post and wait for acceptance.

Id rather not rush the club and get a 'kilkline/gleghorn'.

Club could now narrow it down to 2 or 3 and have a 2nd round. Then make contract offer, possibly negotiate.

Be realistic, this isn't a paper round, it's a decent job let the club do it properly.

And ffs stop these threads, I'm running out of excitement.

Mere speculation but they probably made a decision about their first choice and notified him asap, ready for confirmation from him ahead of an announcement tomorrow
