Trouble?

Just found this on your official site;

Quote
York's yellow shirts had white names and numbers, the names being virtually impossible to read even at close range. They brought a good level of support with them despite the poor weather en route. However, a small number of fans who had earlier been rowdy on a train from York to Manchester were also involved in some pre-match trouble in an Altrincham pub and this led to the rare sight of the local constabulary at Moss Lane, who stationed themselves at the away end. Howevr, there appeared to be no trouble inside the ground.

Anyone know anymore? I know for a fact none of the lads normally accused of being responsible for bother were at the game today, so interesting to see who was to blame.

All the best for the rest of the season, really hope you stay up, and not just because you're a guaranteed 6 points! ;)

So you don't fancy you're chances of promotion then?

Prefer to play it down :) Really we should get a play-off place as weve been there most of the season, but for every good result like yesterday, we go and do something daft, usually at home! Who knows...

Sure you asked this question somewhere else on here? Why the interest, no one here seems to be bothered by it?

Perhaps because your official website writes about it yet there's no mention of it be either sets of supporters?

I have been to almost every game this season home and away and the lads I saw trying to cause trouble were unrecognisable.

I knew the faces of two of them, but none of the rest. We were in the Porterhouse when they came in to try and start something and one of them got a smack across the face by the landlord, which he thorough deserved for telling him to "**** off you fat b******" or words to that effect.

We were in there from about half 12 to about 2.15pm and didn't have any problems.
