Always gonna happen guys with this 'competition' - some Alty fan moaning about the lack of first team players on show having travelled - and some 14yr old Vics fan crowing when they beat the youth team

by the way have you got that huge list of the 56 players you've had on your books this season? Could do with a laugh cheers
Admittedly, can't defend that mate. It's shocking the amount of players coming in and out. You in the relegation zone by any chance? Alty scum going down! How predictable was it that your first song would be pee in a green and white pot. Jeez :)

19 btw lad ;)

Yeah, it is. Mickleover's not the best ground, nor are many of them in that league. We took a good 40-50.  Nantwich is one of the better ones believe it or not bud. Nothing is sh*tter than Moss Lane though. It's falling down! :P

Leave Dick Jockey (DJ) alone now........let him celebrate - there is nothing more to be said about tonight.

Banter lads. Balance things up a bit.

Which situation would I rather have? Mid table evo stik premier division side with gates of 300, bags of debt and a bleak looking future or a conf premier side all be it struggling with gates of near enough 1000 and that has stability and is well ran. Got to hand it to you lads there!

As for the win tonight, only papers up the cracks but im not complaining as it's always good to beat Alty!

Right good luck for rest of the season. Hope you stay up! :)

As an Alty fan who can well remember the very real rivalry between Conference side Alty and Evo stick Vics before they went sh*t and bust, I was so un-arsed about last night's game I forgot it was on.....just logged on this morning and noticed our youth side played creditably in a county cup final against Northwich 2007 Ltd....or is that 2008 Ltd....

Well done Ken on getting our priorities straight....well done to those who travelled to watch this meaningless game that's real dedication for you....well done the youth team....finally well done to all those who made the point by staying away including our first team.

I'll bet we get fined for fielding that side....if so we should aim to make an away game in the competition next season a zero attendance...

If anyone from the cheshire FA is doing their market research by reading this forum then can i just say....if that was a pre season game final the attendance would have been 2,000 and we'd have had all our starlets for your big wigs to watchand it'd have been a 6-0 spectacle to the club from the top tier of non league.

Back to first team affairs and FGR on Saturday.....wonder who vics 1st team are playing sat'dee and will they be holding an open top bus parade to the match?

I hope the suits from the Cheshire FA had a really good time last night.

We heard from a very good source that the reason for having it at Nantwich was that the catering for the dignatries was better than at Wincham Park.

That game would have had double the crowd at Witton last night and everyone would have made more money.

And if any of them happen to pop on this morning this morning to see how things Were enjoyed then a little reminder.

IN THE EYES OF THE F.A THE CHESHIRE CUP FINAL IS NOT A FIRST TEAM FIXTURE, IT'S A RESERVE TEAM FIXTURE.

safe95....you are missed...when can we see you back mate?

Cheers, Ecky. I did turn out at AFC Wimbledon the other week but, apart from Al Murray and Rocky 'Don't tell anyone I'm a banker' Robin, faces from the old days were thin on the ground. Now you know who has gone a visit to Moss Lane would be good soon. Here's hoping for a victory at FGR.
