Thank you for the nomination for celebration of the season. It was with such joy and happiness that I attempted to burst through the segregated net area but unfortunately collided with two rows of seats causing severe bruising all over  my body. The worst is six inches long with cuts to the base of my right leg ( circled ) and am now in quite a lot of pain. Would I swap my agony for that goal…..no chance !

Have a goodwin for your troubles.

As York Alty said all seater stadia are just not suitable for watching football, that horrible white elephant (which also had a very strange smell) is perhaps the best example of how the pursuit of a new out of town all seater ground can go wrong. Look at Coventry for another example.

I see the Premier League decided to come out against the latest safe-standing campaign the other day. That's ignoring a petition signed by a huge number of supporters.

the premier league is a business in its own right.  why would they charge people £20 to stand up when they can charge £35+ for a seat...and then have people stood up.

The premier league is nothing to do with football any more.  It's a blood sucking parasitic pile of sh*t.

There, said it now & I feel so much better.
