Tuesday match thread
« on: March 22, 2011, 06:31:34 PM »

Can we see eastbourne and histon another game closer to the end of the season tonight without adding to their points tally? Will crawley be able to win the sussex derby after the events of the last 24hrs? Add your thoughts through the evening on this thread!

If histon fail to get any points tonight - theyll be level on games with southport, and a 10 point gap ( 11 pratically as the GD is so huge) - 9 off us (game in hand)

If eastbourne fail to get any points - theyll be 8 points off southport (pratically 9 with GD) , having played one more -- 7 off us level games

Got to be just about curtains for Histon already and definitely will be for both of them if they don't win tonight.

not necessarily good news as they have to play some of the bottom few in later games, could do with them thinking they had a chance

Maybe it's not nailed on but having a look at both their run-ins, I can't see where at least the 9 points they need to be in with a chance are going to come from.
Histon have still got: Mansfield, York, Luton, Rushden, Darlington, Wimbledon and Kidderminster:

I'll be astounded if they stayed up

This is the time of the season where strange results occur.. The fat lady isnt even at the Theatre yet,  never mind getting ready to sing...

Fair point. Stranger things have happened and we still have a good number of games left yet
